Art in the Heart
Hermanus FynArts is a vibrant, multi-format festival showcasing the very best in South African arts. From promoting the arts in the visual, performing literary and culinary fields, Hermanus Fynarts runs activities throughout the year in support of education, training and development programme in the greater Hermanus area. This arts festival and its activities lift the spirits of the community and attracts visitors to this beautiful coastal town.

Since 2013, Hermanus FynArts has been celebrating the best of South African creativity in one of the country’s most beautiful coastal settings.
FynArts lives throughout the year through events, the Sculpture on the Cliffs exhibition and the Sculpture Legacy Walk. Over ten inspiring days in June, Hermanus becomes a meeting place for music, art, performance, literature and cuisine - bringing together celebrated artists, emerging talent and audiences who appreciate the extraordinary.
It’s a time to discover something new, share ideas, savour good food and experience the arts in an unforgettable setting.
FynArts is a registered NPO and PBO, with the main beneficiary being the FynArts Development Fund. As a community-focused festival, our aim is to build partnerships that are mutually beneficial and contribute to the local creative economy.
