Bernhard Gueller

Bernhard Gueller stands as a distinguished musical conductor who currently serves as the principal guest conductor of the CPO. With a career spanning continents Bernhard continues to captivate musicians, critics and audiences worldwide. His illustrious career includes a 16-year tenure as the Music Director of the Symphony Nova Scotia in Canada where he now holds the esteemed title of Music Director Laureate. Bernhard has also held prominent positions as the music director of the Nuremberg Symphoniker and principal conductor of both the Cape Town Philharmonic (CTPO) and the Johannesburg Philharmonic.

Lynelle Kenned

Lynelle Kenned, a UCT Opera School graduate, is a well-known performer, TV presenter, and media personality. Her accolades include the 2024 Woordtrofee, 2023 Fiësta Award, and a Fleur du Cap Award. Notable performances span West Side Story, The Sound of Music, and The Messiah. She’s appeared at events such as the Montreal Baroque Festival and Starlight Classics. Passionate about youth development, Lynelle also serves on The Rainbow Exchange board, inspiring others through her artistry and mentorship.

Conroy Scott

Bass-baritone Conroy Scott , is currently a Cape Town Opera soloist. A versatile musician, he performs with leading South African orchestras, and has conducted master classes. Conroy’s operatic roles include Don Giovanni, Figaro, and Scarpia, among others. Notable achievements include a Fleur du Cap Award and performances such as Calling Me Home and Mozart’s Requiem.

​We are hard at work putting the final few bits together for the programme to go off to printing.  We are very excited for the launch of this years bumper packed Festival Programme Booklet (our biggest programme yet) which will be presented to FRIENDS & PATRONS of FynArts on 25 February for early bird bookings and for general release to the public on 8 March at the Old Harbour Sunset Concert.  â€‹
