The Hermanus FynArts festival is a project of Hermanus Tourism and is run under the auspices of the Hermanus Tourism Bureau Management Committee and Office Staff.
The Advisory Board of Hermanus FynArts consists of Christopher Hope, co-founder of the festival, Marilyn Martin, Richard Cock, Mandie van der Spuy and Juan Pieterse
Local support and assistance for this new festival has been given by the Members of Hermanus Tourism, the Overstrand Municipality, local media, our sponsors and businesses. In addition, many individuals volunteer their services, advice and suggestions as well as their enthusiastic support of the programme.
The 2015 festival will again rely on the successful organising and curating services of sculptor Jaco Sieberhagen for Sculpture on the Cliffs; gallery owner Liz Coates for Forms of Expression Ceramic Exhibition; quilter Dal Botha for Art of Thread Exhibition and hospitality consultant and chef Garth Stroebel for the Gourmet Dinner and Pop-Up Kitchen Programme.
We are greatly indebted to the work, guidance, goodwill and support from all these contributors who make it possible to present Hermanus FynArts 2015 as a growing and unique Artsfest to discerning art lovers and other connoisseurs.
