Frans Meyer

Frans was born and raised in Pretoria. He attended Infantry School, the University of Pretoria, Grootfontein Agricultural College and 43 Air School. After spending 12 years in the Karoo as a farmer, he became a commercial contract-pilot and, later, an operations manager in North Africa.

Currently, Frans is operations manager at Cape Town Flight Training Centre. He also writes non-fiction at fransmeyer.com and freelances for other clients. He lives in Cape Town with his writer-wife, Michelle, her two cats, and a mini-Schnauzer called Maddie.
