Jane is an urban geographer whose particular interest is the way in which the food system and the urban system interact to shape nutritional outcomes, with a focus on the dual burden of malnutrition. She’s worked with a number of NGOs and civil society groups on food issues in the African context, served as a member of the Independent Expert Group of the Global Nutrition Report, done consultancy and advisory work with a number of UN Agencies and works closely with local and provincial governments on food policy issues
