Jonathan finds writing about himself in the third person a curious activity. Nonetheless, as a recovering academic he busies himself with manuscript development, editing, reader reports,book reviews and literary journalism when not voraciously consuming carbs, books, series and films and cat videos. The Skrywersaande series of book evenings at Oude Leeskamer Stellenbosch is his brainchild. Always cautiously optimistic, he still hasn’t finished Ulysses
and probably never will. When in doubt, he always ends up eating the sweet treat.
