Katja Abbott

Ceramicist

Katja Abbott studied graphic design and worked as a freelance designer, illustrator, editor and project manager in the publishing industry for many years. She is currently studying a Bachelors degree in Visual Arts through UNISA.

“In a world where the conflict between nature and technology is ever present, I explore the effects of this on both humans and animals. The source of my inspiration for this exploration is the realm of dreams and the unconscious. The images that inhabit this silent territory emerge to reveal themselves through my art.”
