Winand Grundling

Organist

Winand is a multi-award-winning organist who grew up in Uitenhage before obtaining BMus degrees at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and Stellenbosch University. He has travelled widely and completed master classes in the Netherlands, South Korea, Canada and The United States.

His awards include three Kanna Awards at the Klein-Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees. He has released three albums to date, including 14 Stations of the Cross (2012). Nowadays he teaches music at Parel-Vallei High in Somerset West and performs as a pianist, solo performer and choir accompanist in the Western Cape and elsewhere.
