This beautifully illustrated seminar will celebrate the birds of the Overberg by highlighting our fynbos and coastal endemics. A few top birding destinations like the Overberg Wheatbelt, Rooiels, Harold Porter Botanical Gardens and Fernkloof Nature Reserve will be discussed practically by featuring the birds that one can expect to find there.
This presentation will illustrate why the Overberg is regarded as such a top bird-watching destination. Three regional conservation campaigns in view of protecting our birds and their habitats will also be highlighted.
