Uys Family Wines
JP Rossouw will engage with musician-winemaker Nelis Uys in this first session of the ‘Music in Wine’ series that explores the relationship between music and wine as creative and cultural expressions. A punk rock drummer who studied wine at Elsenburg, Nelis has ventured across the globe to explore diverse winemaking traditions. Back on home soil he has continued to hone his skills at Bouchard Finlayson and now as head winemaker at Spookfontein, embracing the challenges and rewards that come with cultivating and crafting wines with character and distinction.
