South-African-born pianist Jenny Stern has recorded for radio and television in Europe and South Africa. She made her debut playing Mozart’s Concerto K450, with the conductor Alberto Bolet. She studied at the Royal College of Music with Lamar Crowson and completed a Master’s in South Africa, winning the prestigious Emma Smith Overseas Scholarship.
Jenny has performed extensively in the UK and abroad. In South Africa, major performances include broadcasts of concertos by Rachmaninoff and Grieg, and performances with the orchestras of Cape Town, Natal and Bloemfontein. She currently teaches at Eton College and the Royal College of Music, Junior Department.
